Princess and the Frog

New York City is either a love it or hate it place.

It’s grimy, crowded, and expensive [frog].

It’s also whimsical, charming, and diverse [princess].

love New York. During each of the four trips that me and my friend have taken, we always discover more to love.

To know it is to love it. It’s a place that can instantly elevate my mood, inspires me to refocus on my dreams, and to walk confidently in who I am (with no modifications) at that very moment. The buzz around the city is infectious and there is something for everyone.

The culture, poor and rich alike, intwine their lives on a daily basis. You get comfortable, and less frightened, interacting with strangers. You get the courage to engage and initiate conversations with people who might otherwise intimidate you elsewhere.
